Dorset is often described as ‘the Best of Both Worlds’, for behind the varied coastline lies a county rich in archaeology, unspoilt towns & villages, scenic countryside, and a history to be proud of. Our tour will visit a few of the interesting places in this beautiful county, including the incredible Jurassic Coast and the market town of Bridport on market day.

This is one of a selection of new coach holidays travelling on this fabulous Starliner coach – supremely comfortable, well appointed and ideal for travelling long or short distances in style. The rear of the coach is laid out as a lounge area with a table and seats for up to 6 people – which can be reserved for friends and family holidaying together. Seats are evenly spaced for extra leg room and some seats are arranged so that 4 people can sit opposite each other with a table in between. TV screens are set in the rear of each seat, or overhead, where Satellite Navigation and films can be viewed (subject to licensing). There is also an on-board WC⁄washroom.

Itinerary – Day 1: To Sherborne
Depart from local pick-up points in the morning and drive to our hotel with free time before dinner.
Day 2: – Bridport Market
Morning visit to Bridport with its Saturday Market. Afternoon drive exploring the Dorset Coast with a stop at Chesil Beach. Dinner at the hotel.
Day 3: – Wimborne Market
Morning visit to Wimborne Minster with its Sunday Market and Poole Harbour, returning to the hotel for dinner.
Day 4: – Time to head for home
Check out of the hotel after breakfast and visit Salisbury before heading for home. We anticipate returning to your original joining point in the evening.

Sherborne Hotel
The Sherborne Hotel is a great base for our tour. Surrounded by countryside yet close enough to the Dorset coast for our touring itinerary. The Sherborne is set in spacious grounds surrounded by pleasant lawns and mature trees. There is a cosy bar and lounge in which to relax and the restaurant serves breakfast and dinner each day. All bedrooms are located on the ground floor or first floor (please note: there is no lift). All rooms are equipped with an en–suite bathroom including basic toiletries, TV plus tea⁄coffee–making facilities.
