
Dunster in the Exmoor National Park has a wealth of historic buildings, from the National Trust’s 11th century Dunster Castle to the Old Yarn Market in the middle of the High Street, which was a focal point for the old Exmoor wool and cloth trade. There is an abundance of exclusive galleries, shops and much, more. On the West Somerset Railway, you can take a journey of discovery, relive your childhood, or simply sit back and relax as you travel along one of Britain’s Best and longest Heritage Railways.
Itinerary - Day 1: To Bath
Depart from local pick-up points in the morning and drive to the Georgian city of Bath with free time. Continue to our hotel in time for dinner.
Day 2: Exploring Exmoor
Depart after breakfast for the drive to Exmoor, those taking the Optional excursion will travel part of the route by steam train to Minehead. We visit Dunster and tour parts of the National Park. We return to the hotel late afternoon for dinner.
Day 3: Home via Wells
Check out of the hotel after breakfast and visit the cathedral town of Wells before heading for home. We anticipate returning to your original joining point in the evening.
